Give your dog its own place
Don’t let your puppy walking around the house. Keep him in a place where you can see him easily. If there will be a time that he will be left alone, better place him in his den or crate. Get a bed of his own that can be made out of a box or towel, some toys, his water and food. The secret here is to let your dog to have his own place where he can play but also so he can have enough exercise.
Show your dog the new areas.
Spend time with your dog in those areas. Show him the new place where he can eat. Unleash him when you think he already has gotten himself familiar with the new areas. However keep in mind that you ought to watch him how he reacts or else he might cause damages in your house.
Teach your dog not to chew
Dogs and puppies like a lot chewing on different things since it strengths their teeth and gums. You have to show him what it is ok to chew (so that he exercises his teeth) and what not allowed chewing. Give him the “No Chew” command when he chews you shoes or your hand. Remember to be stern and to reward him when he had done the right thing.
