For women, there have been scholarships available for quite some time now, and there are now many companies and nonprofits willing to help you get an education. Every day, there are ladies that decide not to go to school because of a lack of funds. This is simply not true.

The Rolling Stone Annual College Journalism Competition is one option available for women looking to go to college. WIth over $2,500 being offered to any woman going back to school, it’s very lucrative and readily available. All that’s required is a written essay submitted between June 1-30th. If you write, or love to write, then this is the option for you! You’ll get your work out there, as well as gaining money for college! There is no requirement in terms of what your GPA must be. However, it’s only awarded to three people each year, so make sure your essay is quite well written!

The Insurance Scholarship Foundation of America also gives out scholarships every year. It’s specifically for women, and is another option available to you. It’s $1,000-$2,000 every year, and it’s the least of the options. There is no GPA demand for it. It’s available to adults, graduates, and undergraduates who need more money for school funds.

The Essay Scholarship Foundation is another option. You can be awarded from $500-$2,000 per year. You need to possess a 3.0 GPA at least. It’s specifically targeted towards women who are accounting majors.
